Building Towards A Lifestyle

Things have been changing. And this last couple of years very drastically. People are not letting work dictate everything they do in life. People are staring to realize that you can fit work into your life instead of the other way around. That you can still make a living and have the lifestyle you want. Whether its having a different sleep schedule, only working 4 days a week, more travel, or just more time to just be home.

Building towards a lifestyle

Know What You Want

to get to building a lifestyle you want you need to know what it is specifically. If you want to travel more you need to know how often, the prices for each trip, and when you want to go. Some people like going in the middle of winter (hello Minnesota winters) so they can have some warmth. You need to figure logistics if other people are going with you.

Just what are all the steps. What do you need to do to get there from where you are now. How much money do you need to make to save for each trip and still pay for all your bills and things in life (emergencies, Xmas, and birthdays). Give yourself a timetable so you can see how long it would take to get there.

What Needs To Change In Your Life Now

Sometimes the steps you figure out cannot be done in order. Which seems weird, but sometimes forward motion is more important than some obituary order. What can be done now or is the most urgent. Maybe you need to get a passport since it can take a while to get shipped to you. Also, you never know what could happen in the future after working on getting this life you want you might win a trip or be given an opportunity through work.

Once You Get To Level Footing What Are The Small Steps You Can Take Next

The very beginning can feel a little chaotic and all over the place. There are a lot of small pre-steps to get done before you feel like you can get. But don’t get bogged down on a special order or timetable. You need to have a general one so you know you are moving forward. But any step will get you there even if it feels like you’ll never get there.
