Re-evaluating Your Boundaries

Creating personal boundaries is important for each and every individual. They help you to set the basic guidelines of how you want to get treated. Built out of your own situation, opinion, and beliefs, these boundaries help you to define your likes and dislikes to the outer world. Whether you are at your workplace, school, or home, personal boundaries give you the permission to say NO to people crossing the line. It is a very important self-care component that prevents others from intruding upon you or taking you for granted. Boundaries are important for both personal and professional spheres. Thus, if someone tries to cross those lines or disrespect them, it is important to get rid of them.

  • Boundaries Change- As nothing is permanent in our lives, boundaries also change with time and situation. So, if you are not OK with something, be honest about that. 

  • Get Rid of Some Boundaries- Boundaries are meant for making our life better and happier. So, if you are already enjoying your life and have reached a stage or age with better people all around, it's absolutely fine to get rid of some of your boundaries.
