Getting Into Sex and Intimacy Coaching: Interview with Gretchen part 1

Getting into the sex and intimacy work is not really something anyone would think would get into, let alone an introvert. Yes, we can get into details and deep discussions easily, but these are topics are not ones most people feel comfortable talking about. The energy to take it on is what is most important to getting into any work.

Especially with all the undertones with religion around sexuality. For most people in America being Catholic does not have good messaging to the body and sex. So so many people are not getting what they need from their relationships because they are told damaging things about themselves and their bodies. The Church can also push more women and introverts to be more quiet (of course not all churches and people). The socialization and culture of modesty plays a big role also.

And talking about doing this work can be hard. There is the worry about what your friends and family will say and do when they find out. You want to protect yourself, but it’s also really easy as an introvert to not say anything to anyone in the world. But it also holds you back from growing your business by not talking about it. But you need to set boundaries with people so you get fewer bad reactions from people. To the point that they will actually unfollow you on social and you don’t have to worry about it anyways.
