When You Feel Lonely

We love our alone time. Its part of our self-care. But we can still get lonely, Whether its doing the things we like doing or with others around. Our needs are not getting met. There are some things that you can do to help combat this. It happens to all of us.

We can not feel right about the things we love to do. Mostly because we are doing them out of habit and not for any enjoyment or its what we need. There is a difference to being alone because we want it and being lonely. And we have a right to feel either way. Just because we usually want to be left alone does not mean we cannot feel this way or need help from it.

Here are 10 things you can try. Sometimes you will only need to do a few things to get out of this.

  3. Get back in touch with yourself

  4. Performing acts of kindness

  5. Getting back to your hobbies

  6. Spend time with animals

  7. Evaluate your social media usage

  8. Go to sleep

  9. Get enough exercise

  10. Get professional help
