Tag-Team With An Extrovert

Sometimes being out and about is just too much. Having to talk to people and be engaging. And if you have to go to something specific that you need to make a good impression. Whether it’s for networking, business, or just a wedding, so then get a partner to help. I call this tag-teaming.

They will start the conversation

Work smarter, not harder. Most extroverts are great at talking and starting conversations. So why not let them do what they do best?

You are not alone

It cannot be stressed enough that sometimes not being alone is all the support you need. Having someone there to talk to when there is no one else. Someone to make you feel less awkward and embarrassed.

Exit plan strategies

It’s always great to have a partner in crime. If you are not as good at getting out or conversations or making excuses then have someone to help. They can also be a lookout for people that can get in your way of leaving.

Play to your strengths

Having a friend is great because you will be more relaxed and more natural with talking. But also, they know you well that they can help hype you up and steer you to things that will play to your strengths. The topics you know a lot of or even just cover for you.

Having someone with you for things that require talking to others is not faking it. It is not taking a shortcut. You do not get a medal for doing everything yourself or suffering for it.
