How To Plan For The Worst

How to plan for the worst

We all want the best to happen. Especially when it comes to making plans for ourselves for the future, starting a business, a side hustle, moving somewhere taking a vacation, but batch it happens. And sometimes it is our mistake. And sometimes it's just by whatever else happens in the universe, like you can't. You can't know earthquakes gonna come. You didn't know that there's going to be a car accident down the way that was gonna slow things down for you.

when it comes to trying something new, you have your own fears and anxieties. Other people around you do too. And that's kind of how a lot of people have problems with when you tell them about your dreams or about things you want to try. They shit all over it, because they're letting their fears and anxieties push through instead of being supportive, and some of them are rational fears out there.

4 things to do to plan for the worst:

  1. List all the things that could go wrong. Part of what helps you get over your anxieties is to actually plan for it. You're gonna lose all your money, you're gonna be broken, homeless, living down by the river.

  2. Take the big ones from the list and figure out how you can get there. Like what are the steps to get you to lose all your money and become homeless? That means you didn’t pay your mortgage for so many months. Then get evicted. Go through all the steps that could possibly get you there. Like you have you ran out all your savings, you ran all the money in your business, you ran off your parents’ savings. And then realize that it will take you a while to get there. And if you were being diligent enough, you're going to see it coming and you can hopefully course-corrected.

  3. Figure out what steps you can take to prevent the above scenarios. What are some ways you can prevent from getting arrested in another city? So okay make sure you have your passport make sure you show that you have every all the information you need for that your US citizen. Make sure you have all your information there. Make sure you don't drink to excess. Because then you can get yourself in trouble and not know we get blackout drunk and everything else. Make sure you have backups of all your paperwork of a passport, passport, car license, insurance. Does anybody else have copies?

  4. Have a plan for when things do happen. What are the things you can do to make things easier for when shit hits the fan? Have all your medical emergency information in more than one place, paper and electronic. Figure out the things you will need for those situations.
