Engagement Doesn't Always Mean Talking

Having a conversation usually mean talking. But too many times people mix up that idea with engagement, which is not the same. From hanging out with friends to participating at work or school we need to get away from the idea that everyone has to talk to be a part of things.

  • We could just be listening and not interrupting

  • We all learn in different ways

    • We are actually paying attention to the meeting or class

    • Taking good notes

    • Not talking is not a correlation to good grades

  • The time we take to in info/observe -> analyze -> put ideas together can take a little time

    • Once we go through the whole process then we might comments
