How to Be A Better Leader

Being in charge kind of sucks. Which is funny when I am the face of a business and 2 podcasts. And introverts don’t really like being in charge because we have to tell people when they do something wrong. It can be confrontational. We are not really known for being a great leader. There good ones out there but they are usually not known for being an introvert.

When you are in charge there are some small things you can keep to that will make working with you better and more productive. Be in charge so that they can get their work done. So they can just things done quickly and help you keep the ship running. You have your own rules you have to follow to be a better boss and business owner.

  1. Listen to your team.

  2. Be consistent

  3. Let them do their work

  4. Communicate efficiently and leave the lines open

  5. Stand by your decision

  6. Know your own strengths

  7. Know others’ strengths and know how to use them

  8. Write out things down so you can bring things up later

  9. Prepare for meetings ahead of time

  10. Make sure everyone gets time to work together and time alone

These are some of my tips when you have to be in charge for every day. They are not high pressure and can be real quick to do. You have what it takes to lead and you don’t need to be a different kind of person to be good at it. You got this
